The Australian Government has launched a new national website that will help the public easily find answers to their biosecurity questions.

A National Grain Biosecurity Surveillance Strategy has been developed, recognising that the operating environment affecting early detection and market access surveillance in the grain industry today is different to that of the past and is unlikely to be the same in the future.

The NFBSS Implementation Plan suggests ten major actions with a total of 30 associated tasks, undertaken over five years, for consideration by forest stakeholders and governments.

The National Fruit Fly Strategy 2020–25 (NFFS) has been developed by the National Fruit Fly Council (the Council) to provide a framework for ongoing stakeholder cooperation to support a contemporary, viable, cost-effective and coordinated national approach to fruit fly management. The strategy applies to all endemic and non-endemic species of fruit fly.
