The Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) has created a self-paced elearning course in collaboration with the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC). The Surveillance and Pest Status Determination course introduces key concepts related to pest surveillance and pest status determination focusing on new pest detections and emerging pests.

The European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organisation (EPPO) Global Database aims to provide all pest-specific information that has been produced or collected by EPPO. The database contents are regularly updated and contains basic information for more than 97,800 species of interest to agriculture, forestry and plant protection. This includes cultivated and wild plants, pathogens, and invasive alien plants. For each species, the scientific names, synonyms, common names in different languages, taxonomic position, and EPPO Codes are given.

In recognition of the UN International Day of Plant Health on Friday 12 May 2025, the EUPHRESCO III network (Euphresco), the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies of Bari (CIHEAM Bari), the Plant Biosecurity Research Initiative (PBRI) and CABI have partnered to bring the popular Plant Health TV video contest to life.
