ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS & CONDITIONS
The use of Plant Surveillance Network Australasia-Pacific (PSNAP) website is subject to the following Terms and Conditions.
By using this website, you agree to these terms and conditions. PSNAP reserves the right to update these terms and conditions, at any time, without notification.
Any amendments will take effect immediately upon publication on this website. Your continued access and use of the website constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions as modified.
APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP
Membership is free and anyone can apply to PSNAP for membership via the Join form. You must complete the registration form, providing current, complete and accurate information as prompted. You will be informed of the outcome of your application via email by the website administrators (surveillance.capability@aff.gov.au).
PSNAP reserves the right to deny or cancel membership, access to its events or online facilities should a member (or their organisation) be deemed unsuitable for membership. No explanation needs to be given.
If you no longer wish to be part of PSNAP please notify the administrators of the site via the Contact page.
PASSWORD SECURITY
Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their username and password. Members can update their password via the PSNAP login page and the ‘Forgot your password?’ link or by updating their account information once logged in.
MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY
Members details will be added to the membership directory on the PSNAP website following approval of their membership application. Members details (excluding email addresses) will be accessible to other members when they are logged into the PSNAP website.
Members of PSNAP can choose whether they can be contacted by other members via the PSNAP website, without having their email address exposed. To enable this functionality PSNAP members will need to update their membership profile on the PSNAP website. All members are responsible for any messages sent to other members.

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (department) collects your personal information for the purposes of administering the Plant Surveillance Network Australasia-Pacific and related purposes. This includes providing members access to the PSNAP website and distributing newsletters and email campaigns.
If you opt out of membership of the network, the department will be unable to communicate with you about network activities and to provide you with access to members only information on the PSNAP website.
The department may disclose your personal information to third party providers, the Subcommittee on National Plant Health Surveillance and its Plant Surveillance Network Working Group, and other Australian government agencies, persons or organisations where necessary for the above purposes provided the disclosure is consistent with relevant laws, in particular the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles and is unlikely to be disclosed overseas (unless you request to contact a member located overseas).
