Development of the Reference Standard for Technical Reference Guides
A surveillance protocol is a technical reference guide for conducting surveillance on a specific plant pest or group of plant pests.
A Technical Reference Guide includes information on the surveillance methodology, pest biology and taxonomy, identification and sample processing. SNPHS has developed Reference Standard No. 1 to ensure surveillance is consistent and all relevant information is included in a consistent manner across all Technical Reference Guides (TRGs).
